Valentine Nti, the Project Executive Director said,

“Just when we thought we had read the most brilliant recommendations from some of the world's finest young business leaders and gotten a glimpse of how top Universities are approaching business education, this week we were thrilled with some of the most articulate and world class presentations on how to solve some of the most complex issues African businesses confront, not only from the lens of Africans but with very serious insights from the Australian and Indonesian teams. We cannot wait to see them battle each other live on October the 13th when the global semi-finals kicks off at the JSE and 14th when we crown the eventual winners.”

What’s next? Well round 2 of the competition is already in action. The top 6 teams are invited to submit another video link, this time a 3 minutes 2-part Video:

  • Part 1: Introducing their team, why they entered as well as the learning lessons.
  • Part 2: Setting out their hopes and dreams including how The CFO has and could assist their future career.

The videos then go live on broadcast and social media over a 60 day period from August 1, 2016 for the public to have their say by voting for the best video. The team with the highest votes from the public will earn 2 points to their credit going into Round 3. Round 3 and round 4 are the semi-finals and finals respectively. Visit The CFO section on the website to stay informed on the competition key dates.
